EMC Compliance Testing Services
Globally
Networked
Exporting a product globally
demands a properly accredited EMC laboratory to bring international recognition to your
test results and compliance marks . Test
results from CKC are your
passport to World-wide marketing.
CKC test results
can qualify you for CE mark, FCC,
AS/NZ, BSMI, Bellcore,
Industry Canada, VCA, VCCI, and other approvals. CKC and its subsidiary,
CKC-CS are internationally accredited by A2LA
(ISO Guide17025) and ANSI (ISO Guide 65). These accreditations
bring recognition from the
FCC (USA), BSMI (Taiwan), iDA
(Singapore), NATA (Australia), New Zealand Ministry of Commerce, SABS
(South Africa), HOKLAS (Hong Kong) and others.
Additionally, we operate test sites approved for testing by VCCI
(Japan) and VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency – UK).
The Technology Edge
To provide accurate, repeatable
data, an EMC laboratory must employ leading edge test facilities and
manage the many factors that effect the quality of measurements. CKC’s
full-scan height emissions chambers provide ambient free, fast test
results. Likewise, CKC also operates Open Area Test Sites (OATS) which
are located in RF quiet areas for emissions testing. Both our full-scan
height chambers and OATS provide accurate test results that are not
distorted by ambient RF noise. Our immunity test sites utilize new
technology, fully anechoic chambers. These facilities, also known as
Free-Space Rooms, ensure proper evaluation by reducing the risk of
over-stress during RF immunity testing.
The Human Factor: CKC's Advantage
EMC test engineers must
understand the application of test standards; the
accredited
procedures for performing tests; the operation and capabilities of the test
equipment; troubleshooting techniques and the fundamentals of excellent
customer service. CKC engineers have a minimum of a BSEE and / or a
minimum of 5 years electronics experience. Our staff undergoes continual
training, conducted by senior EMC engineers. If you have a product that
which needs to meet new or more complex test requirements, such as
Access BPL, “e” mark, powered wheel chairs, ICs and others, CKC can
help. The experience, attitude and education of our engineers means
that we can perform EMC test projects that other labs are not qualified
or willing to handle. Our test engineers are also practice efficient
and effective EMC troubleshooting techniques. Each CKC location also has
access to Senior EMC engineers, capable of addressing any EMC challenge.
